Working theory
There are 2 types of off grid solar systems.
Mode 1: When there is no national grid, the off grid system will convert the DC power into AC for the loads operation independently.
Mode 2: When there is a national grid, the off grid system will not only supply the loads power from the solar energy, but also use the national grid or diesel generator as a back up power.
